One of the biggest misconceptions about selling physical products is that you have to spend a whole lot of time managing inventory. What you’re going to learn today is how simple it is to sell physical products on Amazon. You will never have to touch any inventory again. This means that you can leave on vacation anywhere in the world while your business produces sales for you.

After picking up a red-hot product opportunity, all you need to do is to move on to the next step, which is to find a high-quality supplier. Depending on what product you want to sell, your supplier might be located in the USA, China, India or somewhere else. The location of the supplier does not matter too much on how you do this business. Types of Suppliers & How to Find them

You can also search for “product name” + private label. Then you contact the manufacturer, and they will put your logo and your label on a product. To find a supplier outside of USA, the process is even easier. There is a massive company called Alibaba that is now worth thousands of billions of dollars. On the main website, you can easily find suppliers for just about any type of product. In fact, you need zero experience to find suppliers on this website.

The process of finding a supplier is quite simple. After you have selected one of your hot-red products on Amazon, you need to go to Alibaba to kickstart your sourcing project. Let’s assume that your selected products is baby crib. On Alibaba, you want to do a quick search for baby cribs, switch to suppliers, go to suppliers by region and select China, and then go to supplier type and check Assessed Supplier and Trade Assurance boxes.

When selecting the supplier, first look at the price. While you don’t want to select a supplier with the highest price, you also want to make sure that you choose a reliable supplier. You also want to look at the minimum order. If it’s more than $2000, you should probably go with something cheaper in the beginning.

After following a few selection criteria explained in the ASM course, all you have to do is to contact the supplier. Simply hit the “Contact Supplier” orange box, go to the bottom page and type in your message to the company. Another great feature you want to leverage is the little check box at the bottom of the message: “Recommend matching suppliers if this supplier doesn’t contact me within 24 hours”. These companies will contact you, so you won’t have to spend precious time looking for suppliers.
